Mazda Repair: mazda running bad, diagnostic scanner, key switch

I have a 1992 mazda b2600 with 220k. The truck runs good cold, when warmed up it will idle but will not accelorate. I then cycle the key switch off and restart engine. It then runs ok for a few minutes then back to no acceleration. I have checked fuel volume, seems ok. Please help.

The B2600 is plagued with electrical problems. From the ECM to the Distributor. Your problem sounds like a coil and an igniter. However, it could very well turn into a monster of a repair if it turns out that an injector driver in the ECM has died or the distributor is failing. Take it to a garage and have them hook a Diagnostic Scanner to it and check the misfire counter to see what’s what.
