Mercedes Benz repair: 98 c280, diagnostic aids, c280

power windows dont work, in fact nothing on the center console works, rear latch switch and pwr. mirrors,   I have one power going in  to the connector and one more power when lights turned on.
the odometer says -42500 with a wrench next to it.  I cant find any diagnostic aids for the system, and dont have a european chip for my snap on scanner.  any help greatlly appreciated

take a multimeter to the console switchwes to verify you are getting power.check the fuses of course there may be a loose wiring by your console as far as the wench light on I would have to say your instrument cluster is shot and the wrench I would not know, is it like a check engine light or a service light
