Mercedes Benz repair: 1983 300 TD diesel, number search results, mercedes benz 300td

Question
Runs great, but won't stop,  I have to open the hood and manually choke it.  Is there some kind of vacuom cut-off either at the switch or the injection system?
It is 1 1983 300 turbo-diesel wagon.

There is a simple mechanical vacuum routing switch built into the electrical key switch.
The vacuum Shut-Off valve (mounted on rear of injection pump), pulls the injection pump rack to stop the engine fuel supply.

Danger:
If you suspect a bad vacuum Shut-Off valve, you must read the following thread before attempting a DIY repair.

If any of these parts fail, your engine may not Shut-Off:
* Vacuum tube
* Vacuum Hose Connector

* Ignition Switch
* Vacuum Shut-Off valve
* Vacuum Pump Check Valve
* Vacuum Pump
* Brake Booster
