MG Car Repair: mg midget 1972, hazard flasher, wire colour

I was attempting to clean up the wiring harness in my mg when I accidently pulled a wire connection and lost the other end.
The wire was located on the front passenger side before the door. There is a similar connection on the left side. I'm not sure whether the wire colour is correct but the wire I have in my hand is purple and white. I lost the other end where ever it went (somewhere inside the car). I was wondering whether you could tell me where I could find that wire, or where does that wire go? Many thanks

Hi Rico,
My name is not Barrie but I will try to answer your question. I have never seen a Purple and white wire on any MG. Could it be Purple with a Light Green stripe? there is a Purple w/Light green wire that runs from the hazard flasher to the hazard warning light. The only other purple wires are either plain Purple or purple w/black tracer wires.
