MG Car Repair: 1978 MGB, turn signal switch, test light

Question
My drivers side front directional doesn't work. I've switched bulbs w/the opposite side & still doesn't work on the drivers side, all other lights work except for some of the side lights but I didn't get that far as of now. My fuses seem to check out O-K

Answer
Hi Dean,
First thing you need is a 12v test light and a wiring diagram. Starting at the bulb socket, start testing with the 12v test light with the direction signal switch to the drivers' side and key on. follow the wiring diagram back toward the turn signal switch. You know the switch is powered because the other side works. Don't forget to test the ground at the socket.
If you don't have a wiring diagram let me know and I will put one up on my web site for you to copy.
