MG Car Repair: 1973 mg midget, brake light switch, test light

Hi Howard,
I have all the lights working on my car except the brake lights don't work.  Where do i begin?

Hi David,
I always start at the load (light bulb) on a light failure, but on a brake light failure you can much easier trace the problem by starting at the brake light switch to see if it has power. Then apply the brakes and see if the power is transferred to the other wire and then trace on if necessary with your test light.
