QUESTION: yes i purchased the carb, intake and airfilter...all assembled...

I am concerned about the hoses and where they go?

vacume hose?

ANSWER: The vacuum hose should come from the base of the carburetor not the manifold. That should be "Ported" vacuum meaning it only has vacuum on it when you first start to open the throttle. There should also be a larger hose on the air filter and that goes to the valve cover. Any other hoses you may have on the system, you will need to contact the company you bought the system from to see what they are for.

Answer
Hi David,
That depends on what the function of any ports on the Weber. You need to know what each port on the Weber does. If you purchased the Weber new, that company should have supplied you with directions. If you can't get that info give me the numbers off of the carb and I will see if I can find out which port does what.
A 73 Midget should have a vacuum advance unit on the distributor and any carb should have a port on the carb mounting flange that is "Ported" vacuum (vacuum that is only applied when just off idle).
There should also be a port on the float chamber to vent and that would need to be vented to a charcoal canister. If the car has a anti run on valve at the bottom of the canister that should get vacuum from the intake manifold as would EGR. (if it has it). There should be a larger hose on the air filter which should get the valve cover vent hose. And the gas line should be on the side of the carb.
