How long are unused rubber hoses are still good?

If you mean new hoses that have never been on a car they can last a lot longer then the ones on a car, However you should look at them closely and bend them sharply and look for small cracks on the bend. If they have small fine cracks on the sharp bend then they are getting dry rotted and you can't depend on them.
