Hello

My van Astro van has no other place now but park under the strong Arizona sun.  
1 would it hurt much the hoses ?  how?  how often should I replace/check them or maintain them - if possible?
2 any idea to protect it?
3 there is a tree I can park it under ( a little far) but then there is that tree glue that ends up on top of the van - any ideas, please ?

Wax the paint, use a reflective shield inside the windshield to protect the dash and interior, and park under the tree. The wax will help wash the sap away.
Just squeeze the hoses each time you check the oil, and if they seem to be getting crunchy inside, or show cracks, replace them. The sun won't have a great effect on the hoses, but the hot temperatures out there will.Van
