Mitsubishi Repair: 99 eclipse gs idle problems, balance shaft, vacuum lines

Question
My car runs perfectly except when it stops at a light. The vibration from the steering wheel is uncontrolable.  Feels like the car is goint to break apart. I have taken it to a mechanic and he cannot figure out whats wrong.
These are the things hat i have done so far:
Egr valve
Checked all vacuum lines
Pcv valve
Cleaned out throttle body
Spark plug and wire change
Oil change
Ignition coil
Power steering flush
Any help would be greatly appreciatedthanks

It sounds as if your balance shaft may be out of phase. This can happen if your balance shaft belt is broken or slipped a few teeth on the sprocket.  You may want to have another mechanic inspect your engine's timing. You may want to consider having a dealership mechanic inspect your car. They will be able to determine the problem for sure.
