Mitsubishi Repair: car problem, fuel pumps, autozone

96 eclipse 2.0 car runs fine when cold but when it warms up and you step on gas it runs like the timing is not advancing no power falls on its face. it will run and idle.if you let it cool down again it will start and run  fine Did notice crack in exhaust manifold what could be the problem

Bill: Sounds like a bad sensor, I would have the computer coded to see what it might kick out at you. Got an AutoZone close by? They will code your car for free. Also you should get the fuel pump checked to make sure it is putting out enough fuel pressure.Easy test any shop should be able to do that for you. Been replacing a lot of fuel pumps of late, well something for you to check. God bless: Linda
