Mitsubishi Repair: cut off, cranks but no start., carisma gdi, mitsubishi carisma

i drive a mitsubishi carisma gdi 1.8, car cut off almost immediately while driving, no management light came on, cranks but does not start, found blown electronic controlled injection fuse, replaced, still same, cranks but no start, would appreciate your help in solving problem.

Hey Ray: What year is your car? You car might have the bad computer in it. The car company farmed out the building of their computers to another company which did not build very good one. A piece will start to die in the computer and then leak into the computer. The problems you are talking on about is one of the problems that shows up. So you should have your computer tested. Because the computer controls everything in that car, I mean everything. So if something is going on get it coded, find what the computer says is bad, fix that and if the computer says it is still bad. Take the neg cable off the battery for 5 minutes, replace it and that should fix the problem. Unless the problem is the computer. God bless: Linda
