Mitsubishi Repair: Verada 1992, fuel system, mechanic

My verada seems to stall when driving after 10 or so minutes. it becomes hesitant, loses its ability to drive and makes a funny clicking sound. after 5-10 minutes waiting, i can start it again and drive, but will soon after conk out.
Can you help me?

This may be a problem with your car's computer.  Mitsubishi sold between 1990-1995 were known to have under-rated components in their computers.  Though your mechanic should also check the ignition system and the fuel system along with the computer to see if they can find the cause of your problem.
