Mitsubishi Repair: Oil pan replacement, oil pan, oil change

Question
After a oil change gone wrong , we need to replace the oil pan .
Do you have to remove the engine to get it replaced ?
Any information on how to.

Answer
James: Listen you need to go out to a parts store and buy yourself a repair manual for your car. It will explain all about replacing the oil pan. But no you should not need to remove the engine to replace the pan. You did not put down model, or year of this car and therefore it is sometimes hard to answer things like this. But that manual which would cost you around $20.00 is well worth the money and would walk you through the whole thing. Do try to get a Haynes as I like them better less engines but the other one would work too.God bless: Linda
