Mitsubishi Repair: Brake lights, miranda, clue

Question
two nights ago I got to work and realized my brake lights were still on even though my lights were turned off and the engine was off, now they are stuck on and I have had to disconnect the lights in the trunk while i'm not driving so my battery doesn't die though the strip on my fin stays on because there is no way for me to disconnect it that I know of and I have no clue what's wrong with it.  Please help!

Answer
Miranda: You either have a short someplace or the switch that is bad and therefore will not shut the lights off. You will have to put the car into a shop and have them find the problem. Sometimes these are hard to find and other times not so hard. If you do not want the lights to stay on at night as to run the battery down, take the neg cable off the battery and that will shut everything off. Then just put the cable back on in the morning. But still find a shop and get this fixed. God bless: Linda
