Mitsubishi Repair: 95 Montero 4wd light flashing, trouble code, 4wd

When driving in 2wd my 4wd indicator blinks the whole time I'm driving. the truck drives fine, the light just blinks. is this a problem or is the computer giving me an indication of a trouble code?

When the 4wd indicator flashes, that typically means there is a problem going into 4wd if you tried.  If the you have not purposely tried to go into 4wd or have not recently since this problem occurred, there may be a problem with the computer or the switch that controls the 4wd activation.  I'd recommend having a mechanic try to pull any trouble codes if possible and inspect the 4wd switch.
