Mitsubishi Repair: Alternator, battery cables, alternator

Question
don't know if it is my alternator but when driving my TCL, Battery light comes on. When I stop the car won't start until I get a jump. My radio stops working too.

When I unplug the terminal and get a jump it works fine. It comes back almost every 3 weeks or so.

Answer
Jo: Get the alternator tested to see if it is bad, could be the battery has a bad cell in it too, have that tested. If you keep getting jumps to start this car, you will be burning up some very important sensors and then it will cost to get them replaced. Have the belt that runs the alternator checked it could be bad and needs to be replaced. But I bet if you replace the alternator and have not burnt up to many wires with all this jumping it should fix your problems. But have that battery tested the alternator can not charge up a bad battery and see about the battery cables are they clean but also tight on the battery. Stop jumping the car and get these things fixed!God bless: Linda
