When I put the car in R(rear)it making a noise.

Answer
Sabin: It could be a lot of different things, I would have the fuel pump checked to make sure it is putting out enough fuel. Also what weight of oil do you use in your car? 5w30 or 10w30? Sometimes  a heavier weight oil will help with the oil light. Still you should take your car to a shop to have this checked out, as the oil sending unit might be going out and needs to be replaced. Or the oil pump could be going too.As for the transmission is this an auto? If so try replacing the fluid, filter and adding some transmission conditioner into the transmission as you change the fluid. That might help with the shifting problem. You could if you have an AutoZone close by, have the car coded as they will do it for free to see if the computer would kick something out. Still you need to get this car checked out to make sure what the problem is and get it fixed. If the light only stays on for a second that is good but the losing power is not. So have it checked out.
