hey Linda....you probably know what my question is just by reading the subject line...I parked my 99 montero sport for a few days, the battery died and now my radio is locked.....would you be able to get me the code???.....here's the serial #91134017C to my radio

Hey Ruben: Love to help you, but the only place I know where to get that code you need is at a dealership. Guess to many people were wanting the code, when they had taken someone's radio out of their car. So the company set it up as to the only place to now get the much needed radio code is a dealership. "Hey Ruben": I did not say that you had taken this radio or anything like that. If you want to check the net using the computer you are on, you might find the code where. I have no idea, I do not work on radios, but I do know from listening and reading up on things, the company makes the rules and one they have you want to code for the radio, due to a bad battery or even bad radio. You have to go through the dealership. That is what I have been told and so I tried to explain that to you. I also was only explaining that, that way the dealerships can keep people honest. I did not mean you were not honest. I don't get paid for doing this and I am trying to help people with their problems. But I don't need someone putting me down when I was just trying to help him.
