Mitsubishi Repair: Wont Start, eclipse gt, factory alarm system

Question
Hello.  I drive a 2000 Eclipse Gt V6.  I was attending a play and i parked me my car.  When i closed the doors and locked it about a second later the car just starts up.  I do not have an automatic starter on the car but i do have the secuirty system.  I unlock the doors and place the key in the ignition.  With the car already started i turn the key all the way foward and the shuts off.  I have Interior Lights but my engine makes a click noise.  The Secuirty Light remains glowing and when i try to start the car everything shuts off no lights or anything.  Im wondering if the computer went out in it because it also resets my battery.  Any Help With be greatly needed

Answer
Ryan,
The problem sounds like it's with your alarm system and possibly the ignition tumbler.  It sounds like the ignition wires that are attached to the security system may be shorting together or it has a bad relay.  If this is a factory alarm system, I would recommend bringing the car to your local dealership to inspect it.
Good luck!
