Mitsubishi Repair: electrical, eclipse gs, lighting system

I have a 97 eclipse gs. the blinkers dont work, the brake lights dont come on, the engine will start and run for a bit then die and refuse to start, and the brake light is always on. i have checked fuses and they are good but i could be missing some because they are in hard to reach areas. i also do have braking but the e-brake feels loose. i really need help with this.

You may need a new alternator and battery.  That may explain your problem with your car not being able to run.  Also when your alternator is bad, your lights may not come on so all power can be used to keep the car running.  Though lights not working can also be a sign of one or more bulbs burning out.  I would recommend getting your car to a mechanic so they can test your alternator and battery and inspect your lighting system.
