Mitsubishi Repair: eclipse spider wont turn over, fuse box, gas tank

I have a 1997 eclipse spider 5 speed. The problem is when I try to start the car all I get is one click that sounds like it is coming from the fuse box. The battery is good and all connections are clean and tight.

Did you have your alternator checked? Make sure that is good, Also make sure that the Alternator fuse is good. If this is all good then I would check the ignition fuse. Does this have the 2.4 liter?

Also make sure your getting fuel! If not then I would check the fuel pump, best way to do that is open your gas cover and put the key in the position just before starting it, then put you ear to the inside of gas tank and see if you can hear a (whirring) Sound if you can't then the pump is bad and your not getting fuel. If you can hear it let me know and we can go further. Thanks again,Kevin
