Mitsubishi Repair: Car problem, 4g63 engine, plymouth lazer

Question
Hey I have a 1990 plymouth lazer. 4g63 engine. 2.0, manual.
The car seems to have some kinda electrical problem. when i turn on the defroster or fan, the rpm drops n seems like the car will die any sec. I replaced the alternator belt...its only a little better. Also when im driving the car tends to jerk when i let go of gas or if i keep the car going at the same speed. pls help thx.

Answer
Max,
I would first have your battery and your alternator load tested.  If either one is over 7 years old, they are probably due for replacement.  If your timing belt has more than 60,000 miles on it, that is also due for replacement.  Have your mechanic do a thorough inspection.
Good luck!
