Mitsubishi Repair: Front End Squealing, 98 Eagle Talon, eagle talon esi, power steering fluid

Hi Miss Linda!

I drive a 98 Eagle Talon ESI. Every time I take a slow turn (below 20 MPH), the front end squeals horribly. If I'm sitting still in the car, and turn the wheel slowly in either direction, it also squeals, and the car acts as if it wants to turn off. Do you have any idea would make the squeal go away?

Shawn: I would say you have a belt slipping, have the belts checked, or else your power steering pump is shot but still that would make the belt slip. So you need to check the power steering fluid, the power steering pump and the power steering belt. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
