Mitsubishi Repair: Fuel Filter Location!, mitsubishi eclipse, fuel filter

Hi there! Thank you so much for being available.
I own a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, 4 Cyl, 2.0 DOHC (Non Turbo), and I would like to change the fuel filter, but have no ideia where the fuel filter is!
How hard is it to change?

Carlos: That fuel filter would be up on the firewall once you open the hood of the car look to the left side of the car, back behind the engine. You need to get a repair manual for your car, most parts stores sell them for around $20.00 and well worth the money. But still working with fuel it might be easier to let a shop do this for you. Also what makes you think you need a fuel filter? At a shop you could have the fuel pump tested to make sure it putting out enough fuel too. You know the fuel is what keeps the fuel pump cool, run your car down to empty to much and with time you will burn out the fuel pump. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
