Mitsubishi Repair: thermostat, l200, thermostat

i have removed my thermostat and the fitting hose, as they were broken, i went to mitsubishi and they said that they are the wrong parts for my L200 TD 1997, but they were from my vehicle, have tried everywhere to locate these same parts,but can't. help, how can i find out  thanks

Rick: If Mitsubishi say those are the wrong thermostat and fitting hose than I would try to buy from them whatever they say is the right thermostat and fitting hose. Some people, now I don't know if you have owned this car all its life or you bought it used. But if you bought it used some people will change things on the car, because they don't want to pay the cost or just because they can. So put back the right thermostat and fitting hose, because that is most likely why the other one broke. Could also be that whoever worked on your car at some shop put the wrong ones on too. So I would go to a part store, have them order the parts that should be on the car. Get the model, year and engine size and then order the right parts. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
