Mitsubishi Repair: Water in Floorboard, water in the air, old hope

Question
Linda,
I have the exact problem you referenced with water in the floorboard on the driver's side and rear driver's side.  Can you please let me know what you did to resolve this?  This just started happening in my 2002 Galant about 2 months ago.  Thank you for you time on this; I greatly appreciate it.

Steven

Answer
Steven: Oh now, does this water happen because it has rainned and your car got water in it? Or because you were running the ac and it got water in it. If it is because of the ac then you could have a leak in the ac that is in the car, or was the ac run on very hot but days with a lot of water in the air then it is due to evaporter not removing the water has it should from the system. This is something a shop will have to check out, with your ac system to make sure everything is working as it should. If it is due to when it rains and the water gets in the car. Then something is bad around the doors or something on that order. But again a shop will be able to find the problem as your car is not that old. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
