Mitsubishi Repair: Two Problems, mitsubishi galant, emergency flashers

Question
I have a '99 Mitsubishi Galant, the driver's side blinker is not functioning properly.  It flashes intermittently, it may flash once for every ten clicks.  The same thing for the emergency flashers.  The right one blinks fine but the left one, when it wants.  I have purchased a flasher to install but have no idea where it goes (any idea?).  Also, suddenly, my sunroof does not function.  The lights aren't illuminated on the buttons that control it, and I've checked the fuses inside the car.  Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Answer
Joanna,
Sorry for the late reply.  I don't think the flasher issue and the sunroof issues are related.  For the flasher, it may just be a bulb that is failing.  Since the right one blinks normal, then the problem is solely in the left one, and that may just be a bad bulb.  If you bought an entirely new flasher unit, you may want to have a mechanic install it.  For your issue with the sunroof, my guess is that something has cut power to the switch control.  Though you cannot find any open fuses, there still may be a problem with the fuse or with the relay that controls the unit. You want to have your mechanic inspect the electrical system for the sunroof.
Good luck!
