Answer
Kevin: First off you need to get yourself a repair manual for your car. It will walk you though things you need to be checking. But I would say you have a seal out. Could be the seal between the driveaxle and at the speedometer drivergear oil seal or O-ring. Those seals are relatively easy, since you don't have to remove the transaxle to get to them. The driveaxle seals are located in the sides of the transaxle, where the splined inner ends of the driveaxles mate with the differential side gears. Look you need that repair manual to lead you through what you should be checking, I would put the car up on jack stands, fill the clutch fluid in the car, make sure the car is safe on those stands and have someone push the clutch down; but you would have to be under the car to see if you might be able to see just where the fluid is leaking from. But again this repair manual would explain all kinds of things for you to check and look for. Every car is different. It could be a crack in the slave but why not check around a bit. It might be something not so costly. Any parts store would have a repair manual for your car, they cost around $20.00 and I tell everyone who buys a new or different car to get one for their car. They are just very good to have. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
