Mitsubishi Repair: Vacuum Hoses, vacuum hoses, tensioner pulley

I have a 96 eclipse that was wrecked. i'm trying to rebuild the vacuum lines and i ran into a little problem with a little metal pipe that points upwards right between the frame rail and the tensioner pulley for the drivebelt. do you know where it should be connected to?

Jesse: You need to buy a good repair manual for your car. Get  a Chilton manual will have diagrams for you to check and explain where things go. Most parts stores have these repair manuals for around $20.00 and well worth the money. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
