Mitsubishi Repair: 99 Mirage A/C, gunk, haynes

There is water leaking from my A/C onto my passenger side floor.  I had the same problem last year and the shop I took it into said that it was clogged up with leaves and gunk.  How hard would it be to open up the A/C myself and clean it out?

Christopher: You need to go out and buy yourself a repair manual for your car. Only then you can read up on what this takes and see if you can handle this job. I am not saying you can't only that you need to understand what is all takes and how it is done. That repair manual will explain the tools you will need and the such. You can buy that repair manual at most parts stores for around $20.00 and well worth the money. Oh hey to get a Haynes they have more pictures and will walk you through things better.
