Mitsubishi Repair: 3.0 eclipse timing, timing belt, trys

changed heads and timing seems to be off it is well beyond tdc all marks seem to be aligned distributor will move only slightly don't know what to do next ,I have no scanner
to help maybe someone here can help

Larry: Last timing belt I did, it took me three trys to get it right. You did not put down the year of the car. Older ones those timing marks are very hard to see. I would say you do not have that belt on the right marks. Hopefully you have a repair manual for the car and so it will explain things to do. But still I would check those marks again. I know it is a large job to get to the timing belt but I think I would check those marks again. I about tore my hair out trying to get the car set I was working on but finely did.
