Mitsubishi Repair: 91 MISUBISHI ECLIPSE GS TURBO, misubishi eclipse, computer one

Hello just bought this car for my son its a automatic w/overdrive okay the problem you start it up seems to idil pretty high for warm up after it warms up it starts to studer up and down in idil but put it into gear seems fine and runs fine just in park at idil it stumbles idils up and down? been told it could be the IAC MOTOR or the ISC hate to just start throwing money away any ideas?

Joe: I would have the car coded.. that should show you if you have any problems with the computer or the sensors. This car is the very year that has a chance of having those bad computers in them. Misubishi farmed out the building of their computers to another company. That company did not build very good ones, in that a piece will start to leak into the computer and with time it kills off the computer. One of the problems that will show up with these bad computers is just what this car is doing. So before you spend the money for those other things, have the computer coded please. It would then rule out that problem. I hate to throw this out at you but it could be a weak sensor in the throttle body too. But having the car coded would rule all this out for you.
