Audio Systems: replace bose system, bose amp, alpine stereo

Question
I just took out a factory bose radio out of my yukon denlia and put in a alpine car cd radio.plus install a 1200watt amp and capacitor
and now. when i play my cd no sound from front or
factory speaker only the sub woofer and when playing the radio just factory speaker and not the
sub woofer. I wounder is this a big problem or small problem.

Double check your connections. It's possible that the CD unit is connected so that When playing it only turns on the power to the amp? If you have the owners manual, review the installation info for this Alpine stereo. Also your vehicle may have a bose amp somewhere that is only turning on with the unit in the radio mode?
