Mitsubishi Repair: 1998 Galant, car front, steering wheel

Question
When driving my car at low speed and turn the steering wheel my car makes a squeaky bedspring sound. Also when I'm driving and I have to apply the brakes hard my steering wheel shakes really bad.

Answer
Crystal: Either one of your tires is cupped and should be replaced. Or your car front end is out of balance and should be balanced. Sounds like your shocks need to be replaced too. You need to get your car into a shop and have these things checked out. Other wise if it is bad shocks it will get so you can not control the car and it will ride bad. And the tires if bad, you could have a blow out or it will get so you can not again control the car. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
