Mitsubishi Repair: 2004 Eclipse Help, cigarette lighters, eclipse gt

Question
I have a 2004 eclipse GT.  I replaced the battery and three days later my cigarette lighters and the clock/radio display dont work/turned off.  I have not replaced the fuses, I dont know what fuses they belong too.  I dont have the owners manual.  I looked under the hood and there is a fuse box, but none of them have a symbol that looks like it would belong to them.  Where can I find this info?

Answer
Elena: There should be inside your car, on the driver's side of the car, kind of under the dash and black colored box, kind of hanging on the side or over on the side of the car there. In it is fuses for the inside of the car. You should check them, you could check with a parts store and get a repair manual for your car. It would explain about everything you always wanted to know about your car but was scared to ask. Well something like that, but it would explain and show you about the fuses as well as other things you might run into with your car. But the fuse box under the dash over there on the driver side of the car, there should be a cover on that one and it should show you what fuses are in there. If not on the outside of the cover then once you get the cover off, it will show on the inside of the cover. So check the fuses but if that does not fix the problem, you maybe should take your car into a shop as you might have some kind of a short though I have not seen that from just replacing the battery. Why did you replace the battery? Did it not keep a charge? Well anyway that repair manual would sure help you. Hope this helps some and good luck! Linda
