Mitsubishi Repair: 2003 eclipse spyder, eclipse spyder, voltmeter

Question
When I put the top down on my car, the fuse for the radio and interior lights blows.  Any ideas?

Cal: My thought is that you have a wire shorting out and somehow when you put the top down, the wires that run the top motor and the wires that go for the lights as well as the radio must all run together. You will need to get a repair manual for your car and voltmeter to get some readings to find out where this short is. The repair manual to know what readings you should be getting and the voltmeter to get those readings. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
