Mitsubishi Repair: ODM Light Blew Out, camshaft sensor, iono

Question
QUESTION: Hello Linda. To make things quick< I have plently of problems with my car but it was basically just with the building of the car. About a week ago, I got a camshaft sensor malfunction fixed and they ground etc... Everything is good now...My only concern is that the light is still out. Is that bad? Will it lead to other problems? Should I get it fixed right away....
.
.
Within two weeks tho, I plan to get it fixed anyway but is it serious...Also my mounts are a little bad but I planed to get them done too.
ANSWER: Nathan: Got to say tonight I can not understand just what ODM stands for. But if as you say it blew out, then how do you know it is not the bulb not really what that light stands for? If you are really going to get things fixed like within the next two weeks then I guess it would be ok, to let it go till you get it all fixed. But I have seen that people mean well but other things get in the way and they don't fix things. Till something breaks and then they kick themself because hey I was going to fix that honest.  But with within two weeks, I would say things will make it till then. Even your motor mounts just keep an eye on them though. See how they are doing through out that two weeks. Don't want nothing bad to to happen to you. It has been a long week, a lot of work and I am just very tired so sorry that I can not understand what ODM stands for. Keep an eye on it and get it fixed within that two weeks. Ok? Great! Have a good Sunday... sounds stormy here. Hope not. Hope this helps some and good luck! Linda

Tha thingy that reads the gas, how fast u going etc....
To Add... When Im driving i feel such an heavy torque...
althought, i need new tires...it feels like the engine wants to fall on everything...maybe its too much weight because the motor mount is bad??? At other times the car just vibrates like crazy lol and the torque seems a little lighter
iono...am I worrying too much
P.S.
I gotten plenty of work done to the Mit Galant 2001...Basically I was too quick to buy it and didn't kno about a lot of things, so now when ever something is out of place...i think the world is over lol

Answer
Nathan: You know that when you worry to much well then you could end up with a lot of grey hair. I know I have 7 children. Don't want that now, do you? :o) I would say it is your weak motor mounts causing your problems. As well as the kind of roads you drive on. Some would cause that vibrates and others would cause you to feel the heavy torque. These little cars will just go and go. I had a friend with one that used more oil then fuel at times, she had almost run the poor car out of oil so many times but it just kept going. She did finely save the money to get that ring job and is still going down the road now. So don't worry so much. As for the light I would say that a bulb just burnt out but it will not be easy to replace but still can be done. Also have you checked to see if the fuse is ok? Might be a bad fuse too. You should get yourself a repair manual for your car. Most parts stores have them, then you can read all up on your car. You will know it from the inside out. :o) And then when you take the car to a shop, you will know if that shop is telling you stories or not. Heck, we all buy cars and then wonder if we should have. But look on the bright side of things once you get that car all fixed up, you will be enjoying your car! Oh hey get a repair manual for your car, get a Haynes they are easier to understand, have all kinds of pictures and just work better. Hang In There, Nathan. I am pulling for you... Linda
