Mitsubishi Repair: 1990 mitsubshi eclipse, column switch, light bulbs

Question
no tail lights .blows fuse 10amp ,when taking right turn.

Answer
Chris:You got a short, could be in the steering column switch or up where all the wires are in the steering column as long as you have problems when turning. Also have you checked all the light bulbs in your tail lights are they all good? If so then sounds like your taillight relay is burnt out. You will have to open the hood of your car, standing looking in at the engine, the black box with this relay in it should be to your left side up on the fender, close to the battery. On the cover of this black box should explain what is in it for relays and larger fuses. Now listen before you remove that relay, remove the neg. cable off the battery and leave it off when putting in the new relay, other wise you could either mess up the computer of your car or the new relay. Once the relay is replaced, put the neg.cable back on. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
