Mitsubishi Repair: check engine light, dodge stealth, 1992 dodge stealth

on my 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T turbo the check engine light turns on and i dont know how to check the code for the car?do you know how to check the code for these cars?thanks

Jorge: Two ways to do this, either go to a AutoZone they will code your car for free. Or else go to Sears buy an voltmeter, then go to a parts store and buy a repair manual for your car. You will need the repair manual to know what is the right readings with the voltmeter. But manual will explain how to get those readings too. Sometimes AutoZone will do older cars but sometimes I have been told they will not. But still you could check with them. Or any other shop that can took your car's computer up to their computer to get this reading. But AutoZone is the only place I have heard of that does it for free. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
