Mitsubishi Repair: Timing marks on sprockets, timing pulley, auto parts stores

Question
What do the timing marks on the balance, crank (inner and outer), oil pump and camshaft sprockets actually look like?  I have a 94 Eclipse, 1.8 liter engine. I found the marks on the case, but not sure what to line up with them.

Also, the ignition timing pulley?

Answer
Jerry,
The timing marks on the sprockets look like small dashes, and they are to line up with small triangles on the engine itself.  Most auto parts stores sell service manuals for your car, and they will show photos of what the marks should look like.  Sometimes over time, the paint can fade on the sprockets, but you should be able to make out the notch that is commonly put on them.
Good luck!
