Mitsubishi Repair: Tranny, cv joints, motor swap

Question
for some time now, since I did my motor swap and refilled the transmission fluid, My car has had trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd but today when I went out The car did not shift at all for a small while and then it slamed in the gear and a humming noise began to come from the tranny that worried me but it was not such a big concern until I stopped and a chatering noise came from under the hood. at first I thought it was the motor, but its practicly new and I did my motor swap so I know i didnt mess up any were. The tranny shifts fine but when I take off fast and it shifts and makes a zoom kind off noise and then shifts. My CV axels have been tore up for some time know and The Crackling stops when I turn. so What Could it be? I will apreciate all your help.
            Thank you very much, Luzbel

Answer
Luzbel: Oh a hard one here. I would change my fluid and filter to see what you find in the oil. If you put the fluid back in, did you put in enough and did you change the filter at that same time? Does your fluid smell burnt? I would say if it still shift like slaming into gear, you need to get a shop to look at that. But you should make sure you tighten all the bolts to the specified torque, also. You best get those CV joints looked at, they can make noise. In like a shudder or vibration during acceleration. I don't know why the noise stops when you turn. Good question. I do hope this will help you. I got some of this out of my repair manual and my other ideas are from years of working on cars. Take care now and good luck!
