Mitsubishi Repair: Cold-Air intake filter...., cold air intake, intake filter

I have a 02 Lancer OZ Rally with a Cold-Air intake, which I bought it with.  I was wondering if there is a way to clean the filter that is on it or just go out and buy one?  Someone told me something about "recharging" it, I don't know what that means.  If you could help it would be appreciated, Thanks!

Darrin: You can recharge the filter, just buy a K&N recharging kit at any AutoZone and follow the instructions. But from what I read up on the internet, you should make sure you have a good filter in your car. Again they say a K&N filter it is the best to buy and they cost around $40.00 to $80.00 but well worth the money. In that you will not be recharging it so often.
