Mitsubishi Repair: engine problems, fuel injection system, glant

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi glant when car is cold it runs fine but as it start to heat up the car starts to jerk in a pace manner like every 3 sec and when i press the gas it studders before picking up speed and i does not go over 80mph can please help me with my problem

Kevin:Here are some ideas to try, but I can only guess what the problems are. You might go out and buy yourself a "repair manaul" for your car. It would give you ideas to look for. They cost around $20.00 at any parts store. Anyway my ideas for you... oh hey wait a minute when it the last time you did a tune up? Stark plugs fouled, fuel injection system component faulty, fuel filter clogged and a vaccum leak. You best bet is put the car into a shop and let them find out what the problem is. Other wise buy the repair manual and check it out yourself. Do becareful working around your car, as you do not want to set off the air bag. Hope this helps and good luck!
