Mitsubishi Repair: 94 talon tranny, eagle talon, male friends

i have a 94 eagle talon(auto) that has no gears at all, everything is neutral.it acted like it was slipping the first 2 min of driving then was fine until one day i was mad and took off not realizing till it was to late that i was in low gear. now i have no gears at all. when you start the car you can hear something spinning real loud, when you shut the car off you can hear the same noise freewheeling to a stop. i was told maybe torch converter but not sure.any ideas???i dont have much money to be guessing at repairs. thanks

Jamie:Hey I am not god, I do what I can with my books, checking on the internet, learned by working on these cars and talking to friends that also work on these cars. Oh by the way they are male friends. I am sorry your tranny is messed up but I was honest with my answer. Maybe you should stick with the guys that answer questions.
