what's goin on Anthony..hey my car is a 1996 Mitsubishi Galant front wheel drive 4 cylinder..i got this engine light keep poppin up so i brought it to the dealer n they said that i need a computer..so now im trying to find a computer but i dunno what kinda computer..can u help me on that one...thank you very much

The computer your mechanic was probably referring to was the ECU (engine control unit).  You should contact your dealership and ask them the part number and the specific computer your car needs.  The only place to get a new computer is from the dealership, but there are a number of places to find rebuilt computers.  If you want to find a computer from a place other than the dealership, you can get the information on the part from the dealership and then search the internet for the part number.
