Answer
Well Bob, I recommend that you take it back to where you bought it because most dealers give you 30 day warranty. If not the Misubishi dealer ship should still honor things like that. If not this could be that your oil pressure sensor(unit) is faulty. Or your oil sending unit, or oil pump maybe faulty. This sounds like when at a stop your pressure DROPS not getting enough oil and the light comes on.. then light goes off after you start driving because when you drive your oil pressure INCREASES and its getting enough oil...ALL OF THIS IS IN THEORY OF COURSE! Being that the car is 2003 you might be able to find these parts at Auto Zone or any car part place. Or you can call Mitsubishi dealer see what thier price is(outrageous most of the time)BUT your first step is to make sure where ever you bought the car from honors this kinda thing or not...MOST Respectable dealers give you at least 30 days even on little things like this!! Also Make sure your running the right AMOUNT oil, make sure to change oil filter on every oil change also....running to much oil or not enough will make this light come on sometimes! At the shop I would say.. you might pay $200 to fix any oil pressure problems with parts and labor...

Good Luck
