Mitsubishi Repair: oxygen sensor, mitsubishi mirage, oxygen sensor

i have a 90 mitsubishi mirage. It is stalling sputtering and sometimes dying, we replaced the oxygen sensor and it is still doing this what else could it be ? the VIN # is JA3CU26X9LU032684 please help me thanks

Sputtering and stalling is typically caused by poor spark and/or poor fuel supply.  You may want to have a tune-up performed.  This would include replacing the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, ditributor rotor, air filter, fuel filter, and PCV valve.  If that does not help, have your mechanic perform a compression check and check to be sure the ignition timing is correct.
