Mitsubishi Repair: Turn Signal, turn signal switch, left turn signal

Question
1997 mitsu eclipse, My left turn signal will not turn off. Think it's a stuck relay but have no idea which relay. Can you help? Thanks. Valerie Rowley

Answer
Valerie,
You may have a stuck turn-signal switch (located in your steering column), a faulty hazard flasher unit (located behind your dash, above your radio), there is even a possible that your relay is stuck.  The relay is located in your main fuse box, near your battery.  The turn-signal circuit is controlled by the tail light relay.  Your fuse box cover should identify which relay is used for the tail lights.  If you are unable to test these circuits yourself, you shoould have a qualified mechanic inspect them for you.
Good luck!
