hard to start when cold but when warm runs good as you try to start when cold it may take 7-8 trys before engine to start, als where is the thermo valve located

Hi Cecil

Try these suggestions to see if this works which could be your problem,the fuel or elecrical system is going bad have that checked,distributor rotor carbon tracked or damaged,choke control stuck.

I'm not sure where yours is since i need to know the year and engine size before i can tell you where it's at.
